All-New Civic Seen in Honda ‘Keep Up’ Ad
Honda’s new ‘Keep Up’ advertisement gives a cheeky glimpse of the all-new Civic Type-R. What’s all the fuss about?
It’s due to be officially unveiled in less than a week, but in their latest ‘Keep Up’ advertisement, Honda have given us all a cheeky insight into the most powerful production Civic ever made.
Honda will reveal the all-new Type-R on March 3 at the Geneva Motor Show – something that hot hatch enthusiasts have been waiting eagerly for.
With the output from its 2.0-litre turbo VTEC engine expected to be more than 276-horsepower and believed to rival that of the original Acura NSX, Honda are really putting a lot of faith in the new Civic Type-R.
Now, in their new ‘Keep Up’ advertising campaign – which is a marvel in itself – Honda have given us all a little tease with a glimpse of the Civic sliding by at around the 30-second mark.
However, the Civic isn’t the only new Honda to get featured in the ad. Keep your eyes peeled for the new NSX and the Honda HR-V. There are even appearances from the ASIMO robot and HondaJet.
The all-new Civic Type-R boasts a wide front splitter and flat underbody, designed to reduce drag and make it as streamlined as possible. All eyes will be on whether it lives up to its lauded top speed of 167 mph.
You can watch the ‘Keep Up’ advertisement below. Just make sure you’re wide awake and ready to try and spot/read as much as you can.
What do you think? Is the advertisement clever or just plain annoying? We’d love to know your thoughts…
